Applying for a property

Download Tenancy Aplication

Before you download the tenancy application from you may need to know:

When and why do you need a tenancy application form?

  • When you are applying to reserve and rent a property you will need to complete a tenancy application form.
  • Before you complete this form, you will need to obtain a quotation which indicates the payment details for the desired property.
  • If you have viewed the property and you wish to rent it; you may call our office and ask for a quotation summary of the necessary payments. This will indicate the payment details such as: security deposit, rent in advance and administration fee, as well as our bank details.

When you are ready to proceed please follow the steps below:

1.        Download and complete a tenancy application form. Credit the holding deposit to Westken’s Clients Account as indicated on the quotation form.

2.      Send the form to Westken’s office as an e-mail attachment. If you don’t have a scanner or e-mail facilities you may fax, post or hand deliver.

3.      The property will be secured for you as soon as the tenancy application form/s together with the initial payment is received.

4.      If there are multiple applicants, only the primary tenant’s application form should be sent with the payment. Other applicants may send their documents the next day.

5.      You will then need to start preparing your references listed on the second page of the tenancy application form. Please obtain all the required references within the time period given.

6.      We prefer all documents to be sent as an e-mail attachment file stating the property address in the 'subject' line. Alternatively, fax, post or hand delivery may be used.

7.      Please note: you may be asked to show original documents when you come to sign the tenancy agreement.

8.       All these procedures can be completed at Westken’s offices if you would prefer.
